Deluxe Day Trips

Deluxe Day trips are spectacular horseback rides we like to custom build for our guests. We have many destinations that offer fine horseback riding trails. The destinations are often high mountain valley lakes. Many of these lakes offer fishing and we are happy to take a long lunch break at the lake so you can throw a line in. The views are spectacular and there can be some good wildlife viewing and photo opportunities.

We trailer the horses to trail heads on the Chugach National Forest or the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. These rides can last from 5 to 12 hours depending on the destination. Let us know your interests and we can help you decide on the perfect spot. We try to run this ride to meet your expectations.

These trips are perfect for special group outings such as wedding parties, family reunions, adventure groups, gold prospectors and photography groups. Let us take you that extra mile to make this a trip of a lifetime. You will be amazed at the beauty of this country. Multi day trips for equestrian groups, these are the best!

Some locations may be:

  • DEVIL’S PASS TRAIL July – October
Takes us into the high mountain valleys of the Chugach National Forest and above tree line. A good wildlife viewing trip as well as challenging ride.

  • JUNEAU LAKE July – October
A scenic ride along Resurrection Trail to Juneau Lake. This ride also takes in the beautiful Juneau Falls.

  • CRESCENT LAKE TRAIL July – October
A high mountain valley lake, popular for it’s grayling fishing. Very Scenic.

  • JOHNSON LAKE TRAIL July – October
We haul our horses a ways, for this one is well worth the spectacular views. Fishing options are available.

We use an old hunter’s packing trail that takes us above tree line. Lunch on top of a mountain that overlooks the Peninsula. Spectacular!

Prices are based on a three person minimum. Please call for a price quote.
