HALF DAY
We are proud of this trip! Lots of wilderness riding, a thrilling trail, spectacular views and great horses make this trip one of the finest in Alaska. Often we view Dall sheep on the rock wall above as we ride along the base of Mt Langille. Great photo opportunities, you’ll take this trip home with you. (Riders should be in good physical condition with height and weight proportionate.) Saddle up time 2:00pm
TWO HOUR TRAIL RIDE
Spectacular valley views, clear mountain streams, thick forests and breath taking Kenai Lake makes this a great trip. We offer a variety of trails to meet riders abilities. Saddle up time 9:00am
SADDLE-PADDLE DAY TRIP
We teamed up with a local raft company to bring you this fun combo day trip. Start your day with a fantastic two hour horseback ride then try you luck at gold panning at our pavilion along with a hearty lunch of roasting hot dogs and marshmallows at our camp fire. Then you will board a big rubber raft for an incredible afternoon of floating the Kenai River. This is a serine float trip, good for all ages. Saddle up time 9:00am (This package can be customized to include fishing or a longer horseback ride. Call for options)
GOLD N SADDLE HALF DAY
A fun family adventure combining horseback riding, gold panning and a campfire lunch. We take in the fun two hour trail then its back at the ranch roasting hot dogs at our fire pit and working our sluice box and panning for gold.
COMBO HORSE BACK RIDING DAY TRIP
Combines our morning two hour ride with our afternoon half day adventure. Mid way you’ll relax at our Pavilion with a fun campfire lunch and trying your luck at gold panning or pitching some horse shoes. A fun group adventure or perfect for just one rider. Saddle up time 9:00
RUSSIAN GAP DAYTRIP
Our Russian Gap day trip is an extension of our half day, riding several more miles along the base of Mt. Langille in the Chugach National Forest, a spot where Russians mined for gold in the 1850’s.. A great wilderness ride that hopefully offers wildlife viewing. A fun group adventure. (minimum of 4 riders)
CUSTOM DAY TRIPS
We have rare permits for the Resurrection trail, Crescent Lake trail, Johnson Lake trail as well as other magnificent trail heads. These horse back riding day trips are on pristine trails and trip options may offer fishing or extreme horse back riding adventures or photography expeditions as well as drop camps for experienced campers.
